Viewing distanceWhen you look at a message that is ten square meters it will obviously demand a different layout than if you are creating an ad for a magazine. While the viewing distance for an ad is about thirty centimetres, the distance you stand from a portable display might be two meters or more. As all events are hectic, with many companies trying to grab attention, you will only have that fleeting second to capture attention. Most people just scan phrases and images to see if they can find something of interest. Short phrased and clear images are best, while detailed explanations and longer catch phrases are best left for the company brochure or product leaflet. Recommended logo placementAt the trade fair or exhibition, it is important to be seen from a distance. Giving your brand a presence not only presents you as a leader in your profession but differentiates your brand from the masses. Place your logo in the most visible spot and avoid tactics, such as those used in magazine add, like placing your logo in the bottom corner of the display. Stage and Scene tipsStage and Scene are printed on fabric and has a seam sown for the horizontal profiles. Make sure not to place logos or other smaller images to high or low in the artwork as the seam may run across it. To make sure this does not happen place the images 20 cm from top and bottom on Stage and 14 cm on Scene. Sewing Guide (PDF).
